A talking parrot IS AT THE GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM

This June Pinkie, The Talking Parrot, is at the Guggenheim Museum, where she is residing in the staff offices and will be on view to the public regularly throughout the month. During Pinkie's stay, the museum is organizing a variety of programs for and around her. These include a film series specially curated for her, displayed on a monitor beside her cage on the Rotunda Floor. This series opens with a selection of non-objective films that were supported by the Guggenheim's founding director Hilla Rebay in the early 20th century. The program will develop over the course of the month in response to her engagement and interests. Visitors are welcome to view these films alongside Pinkie.
A HIGH SCHOOL DRAMA CLASS IS AT ST. PHILIP'S CHURCH

During June the high school drama class will be in residence at St. Philips Church. The student actors, directors and writers will together dramatise a hymn sung by the congregation. The dramatisation will be performed during a regular church service.
A PUNJABI TV SHOW IS AT PET RESOURCES

During June, Punjabi TV Shows usually filmed in front of a green screen at JUS Broadcasting will be instead be filmed on location at Pet Resources pet store, with the shop staff and customers as guests and subject matter. All shows will be broadcast on JUS TV to their 1.5 million viewers.
THE OLDEST SONG IN THE WORLD IS AT Frank Sinatra School of the Arts

During June, the oldest song in the world will be interpreted by student vocal and instrumental groups at the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts.

A Museum Artwork, "Untitled" (Public Opinion) by Felix Gonzales Torres, will be on view at JUS Broadcasting throughout June, and will be visible in their physical studios as well as making an appearance on many of their TV shows.
A CONGREGATION'S CALL TO Action IS AT The Institute for the Study of the Ancient World

In June, the Institute for the Study of the Ancient World is responding to a call to action written by members of the congregation at St. Philip's Church. With a mission to study the religious, political, economic, and cultural connections between ancient civilizations, ISAW demonstrates how scholarship can transcend borders of time and space to provide insight on our interconnectedness. Visit ISAW to participate in an interactive map installation and explore the global connections we experience as residents and visitors in New York City.
