Throughout May The Talking Parrot will live at the Institute for the Study of the Ancient World. Visit Pinkie at ISAW to help staff try to teach her the Ancient Greek word for "democracy." During Pinkie's time at ISAW staff will present two informal talks on the subject of Animals in Antiquity; see the calendar for details. A HIGH SCHOOL DRAMA CLASS IS AT THE GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM

During May the High School Drama Class will be in residence at the Guggenheim Museum. Based on research conducted with the museum's staff, students will create site-specific performance works in which they embody and bring to life elements from paintings in the Guggenheim's current collection exhibition, Visionaries: Creating a Modern Guggenheim. The works will be performed for the public on May 20 during Open House Day; see calendar for details and announcements of additional performances. A PUNJABI TV SHOW IS AT ST. PHILIP'S CHURCH

204 West 134th St, Harlem / ②③ⒷⒸ to 135 St / Hours: Sat, Sun 2pm—7pm / Daily programs

Three Punjabi TV shows usually created in a TV studio in front of a green screen will instead be shot on location at St. Phillip's Church, with the clergy and congregants as subject and guests.  All shows will be broadcast on JUS TV to their 1.5 million viewers throughout May.  See the calendar to attend a live recording. THE OLDEST SONG IN THE WORLD IS AT PET RESOURCES

814 Westchester Ave, South Bronx / ②⑤ to Prospect Ave / Hours: Mon-Sat 11am—7pm, Sun 11am—5pm / Daily programs

During May, the Oldest Song in the World will be interpreted by Pet Resources. It will remixed by parrot trainer and part-time DJ Aubrey Mike and played inside the pet store during open hours and in public DJ sets on the weekends. Aubrey's remixes will also be played outside the store at a pitch only audible to dogs, using a special speaker designed and built by audio engineer Alex Ashcroft. Visit Pet Resources during open hours to hear the remixes, and see the calendar to attend DJ events. A MUSEUM ARTWORK AT Frank Sinatra School of the Arts

A Museum Artwork, "Untitled" (Public Opinion) by Felix Gonzalez-Torres, will be on view in the foyer of Frank Sinatra School of the Arts throughout May. Students in the school's art classes will be offered the opportunity to interpret the work during class and will act as docents for members of the public who come to see the piece. A CONGREGATION'S CALL TO Action IS AT JUS BROADCASTING
